This restriction may be subject to extension by the government.<br>Before arrival<br>o All Mahan Air passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate from the designated laboratories by the Islamic Republic of Iran Ministry of Health and Medical Education and present the test result certificate at check-in. The test must be taken a maximum of 48 hours before departure. This excludes children below 2 years old. The designated laboratories include:<br><br>• Vanak Lab -Tehran<br>• Erfan Niayesh Hospital Lab -Tehran (West Hemmat Expressway)<br>• Pars Hospital Lab - Tehran (Keshavarz Blvd.)<br>• Resalat Hospital Lab – Tehran (Next to the Seyed Khandan Bridge) <br>• Dey Hospital Lab – Tehran (Valiasr St.)<br>• Armin Lab – Tehran (Motahari)<br>• “Tehran Lab” Laboratory – Tehran<br>• Pastor Institute Lab (for Diplomats & Governmental officers of Islamic Republic of Iran)-Tehran<br>• Gholizadeh-Esfandi Lab – Varamin<br>• Emrooz Pathobiology Lab – Shahre Rey<br>• Dr Akbarzade Pathobiology & Genetics Lab– Mashhad <br>• Nikan Lab – Mashhad (Ahmad Abad- Aref 2) <br>• Mashhad Pathobiology Lab – Mashhad (Jam three-way road)<br>• Arad Pathobiology Lab - Karaj <br>• Park Lab – Isfahan<br>• Melal Medical Lab – Isfahan<br>• Oxygen Pathobiology Lab – Shiraz<br>• Pars Hospital Lab – Rasht (Gholipour Blvd.) <br>• Farzan Lab – Hamedan (Booali) <br>• Behsan Virology Lab– Arak<br>• Aria Lab – Ahwaz (Kianpars)<br>• Fajr Lab – Sari<br>• Salam Lab – Tabriz<br>• Booali Lab – Qom (Shohada St.)<br>• Dr. Dabiri Lab – Kerman<br>• Haraz Lab – Amol<br><br>*The passengers who left Iran with negative PCR test result to foreign destinations can come back to Iran with the same test result, in case their travel period is less than 2 weeks (from the time of taking the PCR test).<br><br><br><br>* <br><br>o All individuals entering Malaysia must complete an LOU, obtain a letter of approval (entry permit) from an accredited Malaysian Mission; and install, activate, and register on the MySejahtera app.<br><br>* Effective on 7 September 2020, expatriates that are citizens or residents of Iran will not be allowed entry to Malaysia<br><br>Other nationalities who hold a permanent resident pass, long-term visa and employment visa from listed countries will be restricted from entering Malaysia.<br>The restriction does not apply to:<br>o Malaysian citizens<br>o Passengers in transit to another flight departing from same terminal (KLIA)<br>Passengers who belong to the following categories are exempted from the restriction provided they meet the described conditions.<br>o Diplomats who are appointed in Malaysia and their registered dependents must get approval from the director general of immigration before travelling to Malaysia.<br>o United Nations (UN), World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations Development Programs (UNDP) Passport holders must get approval from the director general of immigration before travelling to Malaysia.<br>o Seamen travelling to join a ship must present a letter of guarantee (LG) and their seaman’s book at their point of entry.<br>o Operating and positioning airline crew must travel on general declaration and submit a general declaration for next operations.<br>o Petroleum industry (oil and gas) crew and professional workers must get approval from the director general of immigration before travelling to Malaysia.<br>On arrival<br>o All passengers will undergo health screening and a swab test upon arrival at their own cost.<br>o All passengers arriving in Malaysia who show no symptoms and test negative for COVID-19 will be quarantined for 14 days at a government provided quarantine facility at their own expense.<br>o Passengers with a positive test result will be directly referred to a hospital and must undergo treatment and hospitalization at their own cost.<br>o For further information please refer to following guidelines for entry and quarantine processes.<br>Seamen travelling to Malaysia:<br>o Must carry a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate issued within 72 hours of departure<br>o Must obtain approval from Malaysia immigration before travel<br>o Must have a guarantee letter from the shipping company<br>Transit through Malaysia<br>o There are no restrictions for passengers connecting to international flights.<br>o Passengers connecting to domestic flights must complete the 14-day quarantine at government provided quarantine facilities at the point of international arrival and will be allowed to travel onward to their domestic destination after the quarantine period.<br>o Domestic passengers connecting to international flights must report to the check-in counter or transfer desk no later than 60 minutes before their next departure.<br><br>For more details, please refer to the following Malaysian government websites.<br>o Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia<br>o National Disaster Management Agency (NADMA)<br>o Immigration Department of Malaysia<br>o Immigration Department of Malaysia Expatriate Service Division<br>o Ministry of Health Malaysia<br>o Ministry of Transport Malaysia<br>o Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia<br>o Education Malaysia website<br><br>
