More Mahan to China and Germany
2014-09-02T08:21:33Z
Mahan Air is continuing its network expansion with the introduction of services to Beijing from 28 October and Munich from 12 November 2014. Beijing will be Mahan’s third destination in China which the airline hopes will add to its success in Shanghai and Guangzhou where it has been operating since 2011. The three times weekly flights will be operating via 249 seat Airbus A340 in two class configuration.
Munich will be the airline’s second destination in Germany after Dusseldorf which Mahan has been serving for more than a decade. This attractive city is the driving force behind Germany’s strong economy and has great appeal for leisure and business travelers. The flight will be operated twice weekly on Sundays and Wednesdays and the frequency will be increased to three weekly as of March next year. The flight schedule for both new routes will allow passengers to experience convenient connections via our hub in Tehran to other destinations in Mahan Air route network.
Mahan is one of the fastest growing airlines in the Middle East flying to more than 50 destinations within Iran and points in Europe, Middle East and the Far East. It operates a fleet of 52 jet transports including Boeing 747, Airbus A340/A320/A310/A300 types. It carried more than 5.4 million passengers in 2013.
