Mahan Air is proud to announce that it has attained its registration with IOSA. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) developed the Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) program for flight operations standards and recommended practices. An audit under IOSA is based on internationally recognized operational standards and assesses the operational management and control systems of an airline. An airline that has been audited to full conformity with IOSA standards makes a clear positive statement about the integrity of its operations and its ability to manage associated risks.
“This IOSA registration confirms our continued commitment to the highest levels of passenger safety. We are very pleased that Mahan Air is now an IOSA registered airline,” said Hamid Arabnejad President of Mahan Air. Mahan Air is based in Tehran, Iran and offers scheduled passenger service to 20 cities in 11 countries in Europe, Far East and the Middle East. It currently employ over 3,000 employees and operates 24 wide and narrow body airbus and Boeing aircraft.
